• HySRI was established at POSTECH to serve as a dedicated platform addressing these complex challenges. Our Institute is committed to advancing fundamental research and engineering principles crucial for hydrogen-based ironmaking and sustainable metallurgical processes. Our key research areas, encompassing reaction kinetics, multiphase modeling, process integration, carbon management, and policy studies, reflect a comprehensive approach to creating a truly sustainable steel value chain.
